The 6 Turin V missions are spread throughout 3 stages:

- 1 introductory mission
- 2 retreival missions
- 3 miscellaneous, repeating missions

To commence you must first find a group of terraforming engineers, located somewhere in Confederation space, who will ask you to take them to Turin V. Once there you must first accept and complete two retrieval missions before the engineers will start offering you missions from the third stage, consisting of three miscellaneous, repeating missions.


STAGE 1 - introductory mission

Transport Engineers

Mission intro: A crowd of what appear to be engineers is gathered in the bar. "Hey, there's a likely-looking one," shouts someone as he notices you. "We need to get to <RST> - will you take us there?"

Available on any Confederate stellar.
Available in the spaceport bar.
Random factor is 15%.
Combat rating: ± noteworthy.

Return destination is Turin V.

Cargo type is Passengers.
Cargo is picked up at mission start.
Cargo is dropped off at return destination.

Payment is 5,000 credits.

You can abort this mission.


STAGE 2 - retrieval missions

Retrieve Equipment

Mission intro: The Turin terraforming project foreman is relaxing in the bar when you walk in. "Ah, you must be <PN>," he says by way of greeting. "I think we have some more work for you - one last load of equipment for the project needs to be shipped in from <DST>. Are you interested in the job?"

Retrieve Colonists

Mission intro: "Greetings again, captain," says the terraforming project foreman as you sit down at the bar. "We have another job for you - a group of volunteer colonists needs to be transported here from <DST>. Interested?"

Available on Turin V.
Available in the spaceport bar.
Random factor is 100%.

Travel destination is any Confederate stellar.
Return destination is Turin V.

Cargo type is Equipment or Passengers.
Cargo is picked up at travel destination.
Cargo is dropped off at return destination.

Payment is 10,000 credits.

You can abort this mission.


STAGE 3 - miscellaneous, repeating missions

Get Repair Equipment

"Hey, there's <PN>," says the Turin terraforming project foreman as he notices you sitting at the bar. "Just the starship captain I need to see. One of our atmospheric converters has broken down, and we need to get a replacement unit from <DST>. Will you help us?"

Resupply Colony

Mission intro: "Greetings," says the Turin project foreman as he sits down at your table. "The terraforming project needs a resupply shipment of <CT> from <DST>. Will you go there and retreive it for us?"

Available on Turin V.
Available in the spaceport bar.
Random factor is 10%.

Travel destination is any Confederate stellar.
Return destination is Turin V.

Cargo type is Equipment or standard.
Cargo amount is random.
Cargo is picked up at travel destination.
Cargo is dropped off at return destination.

Payment is 10,000 or 12,000 credits.

You can abort this mission.

Defend Turin V

Mission intro: "<PN>, thank Newton you're here!" shouts the Turin project foreman as a commotion erupts in the bar. "This system is under attack by pirates! Will you help us defend our colony?"

Available on Turin V.
Available in the spaceport bar.
Random factor is 10%.
Combat rating: mostly harmless.

Return destination is Turin V.

Special ship type is Wimpy Pirate Fighters.
Special ship amount is 6.
Special ships must be chased away or destroyed.
Special ships will appear at mission start.

Payment is 20,000 credits.
